About the QR Code Generator
Create a QR code for a website link, a phone number, Wi-Fi details or any other text. Set the size and colors, preview it instantly and download a scalable SVG. The content is encoded directly in the code, so it never expires and scans do not pass through a tracking link.
How to use it
- 1 Enter the URL or text in the Content field.
- 2 Set the Size between 50 and 500 pixels.
- 3 Pick the Foreground color and Background color.
- 4 Click Download SVG to save the code as qrcode.svg.
Frequently asked questions
No. They are static codes: your content is stored in the pattern itself rather than behind a redirect, so they keep working for as long as the link or text they contain is valid.
This tool accepts up to 2,000 bytes. Plain letters and digits take one byte each, while accented characters and emoji take two to four, so the limit is reached sooner with them.
SVG is a vector format, so the code stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a poster. Most design tools and browsers open it, and you can convert it to PNG if you need a bitmap.
Level M, which lets a scanner recover the content even when roughly 15% of the code is damaged or covered.
Keep a dark foreground on a light background with strong contrast. Inverted or low-contrast codes can look stylish, but many phone cameras fail to read them.
No. The code is generated on our own server and returned to your browser as SVG markup, so your content is never passed to an outside QR image service.
