About the Baking Pan Converter
Find out how much to scale a recipe when you bake it in a different pan. Enter the original and target pans as rectangles, rounds or tube pans, and the converter compares their volumes and gives one factor to multiply every ingredient by.
How to use it
- 1 Under Original pan, choose the Shape and enter the length and width, or the diameter, and the depth in inches. You can also pick one of the Common pans.
- 2 Under Target pan, enter the shape and size of the pan you want to use.
- 3 Read the Scaling factor and multiply each ingredient by it.
- 4 Compare the Original volume and Target volume to see how much more or less batter the new pan holds.
